Chocolate is the first sweet to ever be invented. It came from the cocoa beans, I think it was from south America, and every one was crazy about it. I mean, who wouldn't go nuts over something brown, smooth, and sweet. The first time I had those things in my mouth was heaven, but I don't like the dark ones. I like milk chocolate cause it is sweeter and tastes much better. However lots of people like dark chocolates and I don't so ... yeah... I guess my opinion doesn't matter. Its popularity grew really fast and its demand back then was very high. Dentists say you can only eat one a day though children so don't go crazy. Chocolate can also be combined with fruits like the banana to make it tastes better and although I cant understand why many people seem to enjoy it.

Christmas
Christmas is coming and I'm getting exited mostly because there's no school and that I get to enjoy my life at home. Christmas is also known for its unique variety of foods aside from the fact that children have no school. With foods such as the ginger bread cookies to fruit cakes Christmas foods, and these are all much more enjoyable if you make them yourselves, but if you don't want to that's fine too, I guess. I've never tried fruit cake, but judging from cartoons and other influences, I'm guessing that it tastes bad. Judging from all the people on the internet however it appears that a lot of people enjoy Christmas foods more than I do, as well as fruit cakes.

Cheese
Cheese is good, overall. Cheese doesn't taste like milk even though it's made out of fermented milk, which I don't know why that happens. I personally hate cheese, but I hate only the ones that aren't in snacks like the cheese wheels and stuff like that. It's nearly yellow all the time and well, I haven't tasted actual cheese in nearly over five months. Normally I'd get my daily cheese in daily snacks such as Cheez-its or those cheese dips or whatever you call them. According to certain websites there is no certain date of when cheese was made or discovered but it has been noted that it has been consumed and used in very early periods. There are two steps to making cheese; the curdling and the ripening. Based on the just the definition of the last step you should be able to at least grasp and idea of how they make it. Most companies who use cheese in their products such as Cheez-its do use a percentage of cheese in their products but in order to sell it is likely that they use other methods to make their products taste good.

Thanksgiving foods
Hi, Its nearly time for thanksgiving so feel like talking about, except I'm not going talk about thanksgiving itself only its food, cause this is a food blog.
In thanksgiving we celebrate something about our thanks for something about giving ( I don't know), but what I do know is that we get to eat turkey and mash potatoes and other related foods. but no in my house hold its more likely that you'll get to eat pork and no turkey why? because its cheaper. and that's that and I totally agree with what my parents decide partly cause I really don't care what I eat on thanksgiving as long as its edible and has a good taste, what I'm trying to say is that I don't eat "What you're supposed to eat" on holidays like these. But what I'm interested in is what you eat that's not related to thanksgiving, and I don't care if it was a one time thing so feel free to tell me what you want to say, or if you don't feel like commenting that's fine too.

McDonalds
We are finally here lets talk about the famous and one and only McDonalds. this business has been in busuiness for seventy years and can be found in 118 countries. it serves worldwide and has been making a profit of 5.5 billion dollars. Primarily this franchise sells burgers, chicken, fries, soft drinks, and deserts such as icecream. yes although it participates in charity and donations to churches, it gets a lot of critisiscm about what it serves, its expansion and its business practices. But again im here to talk about food not MD(McDonalds).
Honestly, I
dont think MD deserves the criticism that it gets from day to day, because really it actually tastes pretty decent if you dont eat it constantly every day. Its double cheese burgers are nice and yes although they may be categorized as very unhealthy food it tastes good, and to me as long as it doesnt kill me and its edible and tates good, I'm fine with it.There have been cases where a MD burger has been left for several years and still looks fine, which lead to people questioning,"what type of chemicals does MD put in this thing?" But overall if you dont want to eat it you dont have to, and to me, again, it actually tastes pretty good.

cupcakes
Cupcakes are mini cakes that everyone loves. There small little pieces of bread with cream on top of it. Shardul said," There's a cupcake store next to Wal-Mart and there delicious." I personally love cupcakes, but when you eat too much of them they start to taste too sweet and then I throw up. There are many types of cupcakes like chocolate and vanilla, but I hate chocolate cupcakes because they suck and taste horrible but overall, cupcakes taste nice.

PB&J
Who doesn't like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?! actually personally I hate them, but it is what they call the American sandwich right? i mean the thing is pretty popular. you see them in movies, you see them in those reality shows when the children eat lunch, you see them everywhere! but what still confuses me and maybe even you too is why is it so popular?! Just look at it; all it is just flavored jelly and peanut butter along with some bread, and besides the bread is WHEAT bread, I hate wheat bread, white bread tastes a lot better. I don't know it is about wheat bread that tastes bad but, man it tastes bad.
Story about me:
Back in 3rd grade, I ordered lunches and one of the options for the food of your choice was pb&j. so I thought hey why not lets give it a try. I picked one up and sat down to start munching at it but the moment it entered my mouth, it was horrible. I immediately disposed of it and drank some milk. I guess I'm the weird one here because well apparently I also don't like chocolate milk. No ... in fact I've never even tasted it before! even now as we speak I still don't know what in god's name it tastes like. but I'm sure it probably doesn't taste like actual chocolate or milk at all, why you ask I'm not sure but I'm always suspicious of that company, Shamrock farms, that's right, that company and their cow on the front every single milk bottle telling me to play crossword puzzles. I don't know about you but you should never trust a cow that tells to play crossword puzzles, I mean, I'm just sayin...
PEANUTBUTTER JELLY TIME!!!

Chinese Food
Chinese food is strictly taken from regions in china and usually not influenced by other cultures. The use of chopsticks are also a part of Chinese culture and the picture of rice also represents Chinese food. Dim sum is also part of Chinese food as it started out on the silk road, a trading route famous across Eurasia, aiding travelers with food and tea. Later on, dim sum restaurants such as China King have become well known to the public. Personally i love Chinese food and it tastes like heaven. awesome Chinese foods like sweet and sour chicken or Cha Sui bao are paid highly for and are considered a delicacy in some parts of the world. Rice is culturally the main course of every Chinese meal as it is the staple food of the Chinese economy.

Indian Food
Indian food has a wide variety of spices due to its soil and climate it grows many spices, herbs, vegetable, fruit, and other crops such as grain. This cuisine is very different from the other, I mean, take a look at curry, it has its own look. You could never mistake western food for Indian food and to me it looks very appetizing. Famous Indian foods like Momo, a steamed bun with or without filling, are renowned as a delicacy in Tibet. Indian food has become very popular throughout the U.S. and has been known to rival even Chinese food, but personally I think Chinese food rules all.
Recipe: Chicken Tikka Misala
For the marinade: In a large bowl, mix together the marinade ingredients. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Marinate at least 30 minutes, or in the refrigerator up to overnight.
For the sauce: When you're ready to make the curry, place a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil and butter. When the butter has melted, add the Ginger-Garlic Paste and serrano peppers. Saute until lightly browned around the edges. Add the tomato paste and cook until the tomato has darkened in color, about 3 minutes. Add the garam masala and the paprika and saute for about 1 minute to draw out their flavors.
Add the tomatoes, salt, and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer, and cook until thickened, about 20 minutes. You may need more water depending on how much liquid the tomatoes give off.
Meanwhile, fire up your grill. When it is nice and hot, lightly brush it with oil. Place the chicken on the grill, shaking off some of the excess marinade. Cook until it's charred, about 2 minutes on each side. (Don't worry that the chicken will still be a little uncooked, it finishes cooking in the sauce).
Pour the sauce into a blender or food processor, or use an immersion blender, and process until smooth. Pour back into the skillet and bring back up to a boil. Add the chicken and fenugreek leaves, if using. Take the heat down to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the cream and stir through. Garnish with minced fresh cilantro, and serve over rice, with naan, or a crusty piece of bread.
(I do not own this recipe, and I only wish to spread it)

This recipe takes a total of one hour and thirty minutes to complete although it may not be worth making, it looks really good. I haven't actually made this dish, nor do i have the time, but it really looks good and personally it is worth making when you have time for the food and the fun of making the thing.

Mexican food
Mexican food come from the Mesoamerican lands, and it has some Spanish elements. In the 16th century the Spanish tried to force their culture on the country but that failed and it resulted in some mixed cooking. It contains basic foods like beef, chicken, goat, and pork. Famous foods like burritos which contains cheese and beans. Mexican food today is still very popular and has many people enjoying it really does have its own unique style as does every food.Beverages that are Mexican include Atole, which personally sounds disgusting, that conatins flavored corn as well as fermented corn and other types of corn with flavor on it. Although not all Mexican styles of cooking are the same, most of them are generally very similar to each other. For example Northern Mexican style consists of a large amount of meat, and Yucatan, and Western Mexican cuisine also have their own characteristics of cooking.
I personally love the Chips and Salsa.

Italian Food
Italian food is Italian. It comprises of several new world (america) foods such as peppers, potatoes, and maize (corn). Famous foods like the pizza are also Italian, and as all of you know pizza is awesome and you cant say anything about it it. If you don't know what pizza is let me help you; Its a round piece of bread with some sauce on the bread, along with some cheese on the sauce, and maybe some extra topping like peppers or some meat. There's also spaghetti which is also awesome because it tastes good; made with stringy dough and sauce. Normally you can tell its Italian food cause it would usually be on a big plate with some fancy sauces on the plate, yeah, and the food would normally be really colorful because its awesome
Sai says," when i think of italian food i think of delicious food dancing on my toungue like delicious food dancing on my tongue."
A Russian says," i think its good the cheese is very unique its like cupcakes."
Shanti says,"its awesome."

Snacks
Snacks
By: Maxwell L.
Snacks have a bad reputation among people, and are usually said to be the main cause of most overweight people. But that doesnt have to be the case, and besides when you’re bored and don’t know what to do; Obviously the first thing you do is chow down on some food, but since some people dont want to get off the couch when they’re in a comfortable position just to make some steak, people usually prepare snacks, so they can eat food and at the same time barely put any effort into making the thing! That, my friend is the difference between snacks and regular meals and, yes, it is revolutionary is it not? Three good examples would be chips, cheezits, and some fruits.
Chips
Snacks can usually be found at almost any store, whether it be walmart or Target. Although snacks like gritz are good, you can find the most popular snack ,Chips, almost anywhere most bag of chips have a 150 calories and around a gain of 10 to 15 grams of carbohydrates so just a bag from time to time can't hurt you. You can thank Joe Murphy for flavoring chips, if it wasnt for him the only flavor for the potato chip would've been salty right now. Chips alone in the potato chip market have generated You just have to love those flavored potato slices in bag nothing compares to a sour cream and onion Pringles Chip to keep you satisfied. I mean whenever I think of snacks its always a bag of chips.
Fruits
Fruits
Fruits can also be snacks as well, though a lot healthier than most. Not all snacks have to be artificially manufactured. Not everything has to be manmade to taste good, in fact I think it’s a lot easier to just pick some juicy and sweet fruit off of a tree, rather than spending a month formulating chemicals to make something taste better. Fruits like cherries or grapes can easily just be handheld in your lap and consumed to satisfy your needs. It’s also a lot healthier than foods like chips though maybe not addicting as it is. If I had to choose between Chips and strange fruit I’ve never seen before, I’d choose the strange fruit almost any day.
Guess what this thing is. |
Cheez-its
Cheezits, a cheesy flavored square cracker with a strange hole in them, have grown really popular over the decade when it was taken in by the Keebler Company.Starting in 1921, cheezits was manufactured by the Kellogg Company along with the Sunshine Biscuits division. It reached I don’t remember when I first started eating this stuff , but due to what it looks like in the picture i assumed that it was just a horrible cheese cracker, but I was surprised by how good it actually was. Cheezits have a good taste but to be honest they really don’t taste like cheese to me. Whenever I eat those little crackers I think of the word, gasoline, for some reason. But that little cheese cracker has a total of nine-teen flavors along with its growing popularity.
